Goal

Bringing together 15-20 regenerative thinkers and doers in DAOs, ReFi, DeSci, Platform Coops, Purpose Orgs, Climate Activism, and Art to co-create & share projects, knowledge, food, kindness and hope.

The aim of the retreat is to spend time together in a regenerative way:

• We work together on projects, ideas and topics that matter to ourselves and to regenerative ways of being and doing, we take advantage of being together to make things happen
• We hang out together and enjoy meals and informal moments, we take advantage of being together IRL
• We reconnect to ourselves, to others and to the nature around this magical place
• We discover La Matrice
• We leave rejuvenated and regenerated

We organise this “Regens Unite” retreat to bring regens together in an inspiring regen eco farm and village, where we allow ourselves to be surprised and awed by all the different ways of being regenerative and to taste the different aspects of regenerative finance, farming, activism, culture, healing, collaborating, relating, community-building, and technology; experiencing the weave of all these different ways of being and building.

Target group - max 15-17 people

All regens working on regen projects within the Regens Unite community.

Time

We have the space available from Wednesday evening 23/11 (before dinner) till Wednesday after lunchtime (14:00).

You are welcome to stay the full week. There is a coworking place and internet available. We can share meals with people arriving early, work together if we like and enjoy the environment.

Costs

We have a budget pre-agreed in the DAO of 7000 DAI

We pay 3000 euros for the venue for 15-20 people (about 35-40 euros per night per person) + 40 euros per day for food per person

This price does not include:

• Payment for the facilitator/organiser
• Travel expenses

Location

We are organising this retreat at La Matrice, at the eco place of “L’Arbre qui pousse”, in Ottignies, Belgium (google maps).

(Tuesday schedule: we close at 17:00 with a plenary closing, unless everybody is staying until Wednesday)

Costs

We have a budget pre-agreed in the DAO of 7000 euros

We pay 3000 euros for the venue for 15-20 people + 35 euros per day for food per person

That would mean the total cost per person, if 15 people join for a full week, is 550 euros, which would be 8250 euros in total. The price of the venue is fixed, price of meals to, but we do not pay for meals when people are not there.

This price does not include:

• Payment for the facilitator/organiser
• Travel expenses

Proposal: core contributors in the DAO get a full pay. For others we pay up till the agreed budget of 7000 euro. Depending on the attendees this might be enough.
